Tractor walas posing threat to common man on roads; Administration in slumber

POONCH:  A new kind of threat is looming large over the residents of Poonch and this threat is from rash plying of Tractors on city roads to carry sand and gravel to different locations. Tractors are used for agriculture purpose but it has been observed that day in and out large number of Tractors have started plying on main road and creating disturbance for traffic system and proving a threat to common man of Poonch due to their rash driving. The matter is already in the notice of administration and in this connection, Police took action against some Tractors walas in past, but still this menace is going on strongly, thereby putting the lives  of people at risk. Various senior citizens of Poonch said that they fear for their life  whenever they walk on roads because Tractors used to ply so fast that their heart starts trembling. They said that tractor walas are not paying road tax and are meant for agriculture purpose only then why administration is not taking action against the wrong doers. They questioned silence of administration and requested DDC Poonch to intervene and direct the concern department to start drive against Tractor walas.
