Director RDD expresses her displeasure at Poonch, BDO Lassana, Balakote, Mendhar and Mankote taken to task

POONCH: Director RDD Jammu who was on a two days tour of Poonch, expressed her displeasure against RDD Poonch, especially BDO Lassana,  BDO Mankote, BDO Balakote and BDP Mendhar for their weak performance in achieving various targets. Many JE’s and GRS employees were also taken to task by the Director. It is pertinent to mention here that Rural Development Poonch has become a “Gold mine” for corrupt officials in which the main aim of every employee is to hit financial gains, by all means. Secy Panchayats, GRS, Technical Assistants, BDO’s, X.EN (REW) and ACD Office, everybody is involved in neck deep corruption. Majority of officers violate RTI act at will  as they know the inner condition of the department well. The RDD Ponch has massive scams to its credit, which include Flex and wall paintings scam, tiling scam, cement scam, high commission rate (25%. Executive Engineer REW(10%), upto BDO office level(10%) and ACD office(5%). With high commission rate, what would be the output on the ground, one can easily imagine. RDD Poonch has become a department of blunders with full support of ACD Poonch who is pleasing one and all and has given a free hand to his subordinates to do whatever they want, because the boss is eyeing contesting coming assembly elections from Thanamandi. Whereas, candid behaviour of Director RDD at Poonch shows that the boss of department is fully aware of huge misdeeds in the department at Poonch and expressed her anger by taking action against few RDD officers.
