“POONCH TODAY” completes six successful years

With the grace of Lord Shri Krishna, It is a great opportunity for me to announce that yours own newspaper and a bold voice from Pir Panjal region, namely  “POONCH TODAY”, which started in July 2013,  has successfully completed six years of daring journalism amid huge pressure from all the corners of bureaucracy, wrong forces of the social order and political set up, reason, the paper  followed the path of bold and truthful journalism in national interest.

“POONCH TODAY” has been encountering huge pressure from all such forces  from the start of very first publication of the issue, because the newspaper stands for national interest and always exposed those who were standing against national interest and received huge threats, but the newspaper never bowed  before any pressure. During these six years of journey, the paper got huge response from all the sections of the society and has become one of the most credible voices in Jammu region and also succeeded in inviting the attention of top corridors of power in state and centre government on issues projected through this platform. The paper  highlighted every issue of public importance. Mostly, the newspaper brought out major scandals in administration and political setup and faced huge pressure from those  at helm, but in the end, it was the strong determination of this newspaper that it beat all those forces who were standing against the truth and national interest.  Huge efforts were made from various quarters  to curb the bold and  truthful voice of this  newspaper, but every time, it was “POONCH TODAY” that emerged victorious and those who tried to curb the truth, had to taste the dust. Giving priority to our “Nation first policy” and with strong determination, “POONCH TODAY” will try its best to maintain the tempo of bold and truthful journalism in future also. This newspaper’s fight against injustice, corruption and wrong elements of the  social order will continue to remain the same. It doesn’t matter who stand against us as we believe that “Truth only triumphs”.
