POONCH: As huge wrong doings were carried out in the allotment of government quarters over the years and it has been exposed by this newspaper time and again, but it seems that every body in administration is free to play foul and those sitting at the helm have no interest in setting the system on right track, reason might be due to their hand in glove influence. Exclusive reported by “POONCH TODAY”  many times regarding brazen violation of rules in the allotment of government quarters over the years, shockingly no action has been taken yet against the wrong doers in addition to open violation of RTI act by Executive Engineer PWD, fearing exposure of wrong doings of Poonch PWD in the allotment of government quarters to some blue eyed personals and employees. Now, the  question arises what prompted PWD for not providing the required information on government quarters to RTI applicant. This blatant violation of RTI acts shows that the department has admitted indirectly that huge wrong doings were carried out in the allotment of government quarters and some employees are also reportedly getting HRA(House rent  allowance) in addition of having government accommodation and this indicates  that whole system in Poonch is running at the mercy of god. It shows that PWD is following the policy of “Ham Nahi sudhrenge”. For restoring peoples lost confidence in the affairs of PWD, administration needs to conduct a fair enquiry into the matter.
