POONCH: Facing huge traffic load, legislators and district administration have not devised a strategy yet to go for planning a full fledge circular road to ease traffic overload on only available city main road. It is pertinent to mention here that some local legislators have announced many times that work on circular  road project is approved and work will start shortly but even after a lapse of so many years, nothing has been done on the ground and it seems that those ex-legislators befooled the people of Poonch city. There is a huge question mark on administration also which has failed on all aspects in strengthening road network in Poonch. The only available link to Mandi through Nangali sahib bridge is not fully fit because one of the pillar of Nangali bridge deviated from actual position after facing September 2014 flood and right now, the traffic is going on through temporary installed single lane bridge. There is a huge traffic load on Poonch city road and still, administration and legislators have failed completely to tackle this most important issue. Day in and out, common man is suffering a lot and no action from administration on this issue has shown that people of Poonch city are bound to suffer. Circular road for Poonch city has become a  dire necessity and government needs to address the issue, says locals.
