PWD Poonch under fire over poor quality of bunkers, Payments made for non existent and incomplete bunkers

POONCH: People of Shahpur and Qasba have alleged that PWD has released payments of some bunkers which were not completed and some of them are not existed on the ground. They said that huge compromise was made during the construction of bunkers for which question mark has been raised on PWD staff of Poonch. In an another twist of events, people of Qasba also alleged that a Jhulla bridge was sanctioned and work of that Jhulla bridge was started, but payment was released for full Jhulla bridge when that Jhulla bridge is still incomplete. Likewise, they also demanded inquiry into payments made in Qasba and Shahpur areas with regard to many works under various schemes. They also alleged that on the name of repair of roads, huge funds were withdrawn but ground condition of roads is same as was the condition of roads few years back.
