POONCH: Continuous violation of RTI act by BDO Poonch shows that something is fishy in the state of affairs of BDO office and that’s the reason, why BDO has violate the transparency act and has been protecting his tainted officials which included Technical Assistants, JE’s, VLWs and few office staff members. The reputation of BDO office is very bad in the eyes of common man of Poonch. Locals alleged that many fake bills under different schemes were withdrawn during last one year. Funds under one scheme were transferred to other schemes for corrupt practices. Even few ex-legislators were given out of the way benefits in many schemes. The level of corruption in  BDO Office is evident from that fact that majority of tainted employees sold cement to some shops and earned hugely. Material meant for development was sold illegally on many shops. Technical Assistants, JE’s, Secy Pyts, looted govt money and shocking was that BDO gave full shelter to them. Huge financial frauds were taken place in Panchayats Ajote, Degwar, Degwar Maldayalan and nearby panchayats by various Secy Pyts, T.A’s and JE’s. This shows that BDO was also in hand in glove that’s why he preferred to violate the transparency act. A high level inquiry is needed to bring to book, BDO and his tainted officials who looted government exchequer on fake works.
