Rajouri administration under fire over poor facilities at quarantine centers

RAJOURI: Inefficiencies of Rajouri administration always remained in news on one or other issues and in that list, another inefficiency has been added and this is related to poor facilities at quarantine centers as people alleged that huge murder of funds was going in Rajouri. They alleged that people in quarantine centers are getting poor facilities, but on paper, administration is withdrawing huge bills by showing stars as moon. Prominent citizens of Rajouri, pleading anonymity said that government should direct for an inquiry into brazen misuse of funds during COVID -19 crisis as they alleged that large number of quarantine centers were opened and majority of centers were not provided facilities as per the guidelines of  government, but on paper, everything seems to be fine due to the involvement of few tainted officers of Rajouri administration who have been scripting similar frauds over the years in different schemes belonging to different departments. They alleged that only few officers are controlling everything in Rajouri administration, whether legal or illegal. Whereas, they also criticize the working of PWD department for not blacktopping major roads of Rajouri town. They said, “When you see the condition of roads in Rajouri town, you will get an idea  of how inefficient is our administration, because, if this is the condition of heart of the city, then what is expected of development in far flung areas”. Seeking immediate attention of UT administration, prominent citizens demanded white paper on funds provided and their utilization on the ground, because they alleged that huge compromise was made during COVID crisis with regard to funds utilization.
