RAJOURI / UDHAMPUR:  Strange, but true that successive Executive Engineers, AEE’s and few tainted JE’S who are still posted in Rajouri and Udhampur districts earned  a lot illegally from laying of optical fiber cables by various telecom companies in both the districts. Out of the way, these tainted PWD officials scripted many frauds out of these OFC works and preferred to remain silent after executing their plan on the ground. Many RTI applicants approached PWD Rajouri and Udhampur to know the details of work under non plan and laying of OFC in Rajouri  and Udhampur by various telecom companies, but sensing trouble, PWD officials of Rajouri and Udhampur prefer to violate the transparency act time and again and this shows that all of them are fully aware of their brazen frauds which were scripted by tainted officials of PWD division Rajouri and Udhampur. Few JE’s who have been posted within Rajouri and Udhampur districts for many years have become expert in scripting various frauds. One of the high profile JE managed to withdrew huge sums of rupees in several  lakhs from a high profile project in Rajouri city by fake means. Similarly, many JE’s who are enjoying positing with Rajouri and Udhampur districts due to a high profile nexus in the office of Chief Engineer Jammu, where, those, who indulge in hand in glove culture, manage to get choicest posting and based on such acts, few JE’s have murdered government exchequer in PWD Rajouri and Udhampur with the full support of successive X.Ens and AEE’s. Even concerned Superintending Engineers remained silent on exposure of various fraud in PWD division Rajouri and Udhampur. A high level inquiry is needed to detect how many JE’s in Rajouri have been posting within the district for long, that allowed them to script  financial frauds from various projects, especially OFC project.
