POONCH TODAY NEWS

POONCH/JAMMU: Having dubious character and already being on the radar of various agencies for a number of doubtful works, some forces inimical to peace in the entire J&K, including a few government employees with doubtful credentials, are running various societies, clubs, and NGOs and are reportedly running a big agenda against the nation silently.

They reportedly work under a hidden plan to become self-proclaimed “prominent citizens” of society to implement their mission on the ground by forming links with important chairs, but behind the scenes, their social value stands nowhere because of their questionable acts over the years. “POONCH TODAY” has some solid proof that shows how these questionable forces who run different NGOs, societies, and clubs managed to implement their agenda on the ground by forming links with police, the army, and civil administration for years. Unfortunately, some officers in the police and civil administration were also seen supporting these doubtful credential NGOs, societies, and clubs for unknown reasons, and it clearly showed that their intelligence is too weak. Although many NGOs are already under the scanner for spending funds without a known source of income. Some of the societies are already on the radar of security agencies for their involvement in wrongdoing on behalf of NGOs, trusts, and clubs. These people have only one agenda, which is to get the attention of the top chairs for their own personal benefit. Even some civil, police, and army officers were easily hoodwinked by these people, whose integrity is always in question and who always project themselves as the ultimate think tanks. They used to infiltrate important government installations with the main aim of getting various types of important information. Even a few government officials, who are running these societies, are seen criticizing government policies as if they belong to a high-profile political class. These government employees never do their government duties and prefer to spend their official time on the activities of NGOs, clubs, and societies, and it’s a big public concern. In social settings, these people are always taken lightly because of their opportunistic credentials, but behind the scenes, their activities always remain doubtful. Some societies, NGOs, and clubs reportedly have financial links with a few groups outside J&K and the country that are already working against national interests, and security agencies need to put them under a scanner, as one single mistake could prove disastrous for the future. Locals have questioned the role of some NGOs that are being run by government employees. Earlier, an effort was made by the civil society of Jammu to request the government to ban all NGOs, societies, and clubs with doubtful credentials being run by government employees and others who are doing nothing rather than cheating the government officers belonging to the civil administration, police, and the army by getting huge money and several awards in the name of various works. By projecting themselves as social workers, they have only one agenda, which is to get any award to promote themselves as prominent citizens. Some people, who are part and parcel of such tactics, were also active years ago for their silent, questionable acts against the nation. It’s a common scene that various people, including employees with doubtful credentials, on behalf of various societies, are trying to become self-proclaimed “prominent citizens,” but at the same time, they ignore government duties and project themselves as “think tanks” of society for criticizing the government. Some government employees are also seen projecting themselves as political leaders and media men and are seen attending political and official functions openly during the official duty hours, which puts a big question mark on the workings of the civil administration, army, police, and intelligence agencies. Such doubtful forces running NGOs, clubs, and societies with a questionable agenda have not been taken to task by the government yet, and it’s a big security concern for the future.
