Crumbling Pakistan! PM Modi’s demonetization, proving to be a farsighted decision taken in the national interest; HM, EAM, NSA tackled national security concerns strongly

POONCH/NEW DELHI: Pakistan and its agents sitting in the Indian Territory played a big role in weakening the nation through various forms of terrorism and its related acts, including drug terrorism, black marketing of various items, and circulation of fake currency for years.

Previous governments at the centre never collected the guts to take on Pakistan strongly due to their political appeasement policy, and because of that weak approach, the nation had paid a heavy price. The erstwhile state of J&K remained on the target of Pakistan and its supporters as ways and means were regularly found to weaken the nation from inside. Nobody can forget the role played by some anti-national forces in J&K in blackmailing New Delhi for years with the full support of Pakistani touts operating in J&K in the shape of Hurriyat and its related organizations. There was a huge flow of fake currency in the country, and intelligence agencies time and again reported the matter to the notice of the previous government, but as usual, for its political appeasement policy, no steps were taken by the then government to address the issue, which had the capacity to destroy the nation internally. Due to the poor response of the then union government, anti-national forces that were operating within the territory of India, particularly in J&K, and were supported by Pakistan were able to carry forward their anti-India agenda successfully to some extent through the circulation of fake currency and other black marketing activities. In 2014, when Narendra Modi was sworn in as PM of the country, he was briefed by the intelligence agencies on the said matter again, and ultimately, on November 8, 2016, PM Narendra Modi, in the national interest, took the bold decision of demonetizing banknotes of Rs 500 and 1,000 issued under the Mahatma Gandhi Series. The government declared the said notes as illegal, and direction was given for the withdrawal of the said notes from circulation. This bold decision, which was taken in the national interest by PM Narendra Modi, received huge opposition from various opposition political parties. The common man also faced huge inconvenience for some time. This issue became a political topic for several years and remained on the top list of opposition parties in various state elections, including the 2019 parliamentary elections. The opposite parties never missed an opportunity to target the government by running fake narratives against the union government. The opposition played every move to throw the NDA government out of power on this issue, but what happened in 2019 is known to all as the Modi-led BJP came to power a second time with an absolute majority. The opposition never stopped and targeted the government and approached the Supreme Court on the issue. The Hon’ble Supreme Court, after going through each and every aspect of demonetization, termed the decision as right. The first effect of demonetization was seen in breaking the back of terrorism in J&K. The decision of abrogation of temporary articles 370 and 35-A further gave a massive setback to the anti-national ecosystem operating in the erstwhile state of J&K. After demonetization and abrogation of articles 370 and 35-A, the union government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah has broken the bone of terrorism, in which JKP, the army, paramilitary forces, and intelligence agencies played a big part. After winning in the 2024 parliamentary elections, the NDA government led by PM Modi, although projected as a weak coalition government by the India bloc, has started taking tough decisions in the national interest, especially on foreign and home affairs. As a result, India is being seen as a strong power in the world. It is important to mention here that various players of the anti-national ecosystem, who were operating in J&K in various shapes and were receiving aid for their anti-India campaigns, suffered a knelt blow after the demonetization announcement in 2016 by PM Modi, as fake notes were withdrawn from the market. Even the government introduced several tough laws on receiving foreign funding. Many doubtful NGOs, societies, political people, and individuals who were receiving money from foreign countries, particularly from enemy countries of India, came under strong scrutiny. After winning the 2019 parliamentary elections, the PM Modi-led NDA government divided J&K into two UTs of J&K and Ladakh, and the security forces played a massive role in bringing peace in J&K after that. After going through a peaceful atmosphere in J&K, it has been proved that the decision of PM Modi was a 100% right decision, but opposition political parties, which used the political appeasement policy for years to remain in power, tried their best to set a wrong narrative to befool their voters to stand against the NDA government, but their every propaganda failed brazenly. Due to demonetization, people have chosen to be a part of digital transactions, and as a result, black marketing has been reduced significantly. Due to the increase in digital transactions, steps have been taken by the union government to ensure corruption-free governance. After demonetization, a large number of counterfeit notes were detected and decreased sharply from the market. The purpose for which the demonetization decision was taken seems to have been achieved by the government because the anti-national ecosystem that was operating in the country, particularly in J&K, received a big blow. Pakistan and its agents, who were the brainchild of weakening India internally through black marketing of notes, including fake currency, particularly in J&K, have now become clean bowled due to the strong policies of the PM Modi-led NDA government, which won the parliamentary elections for the third time in 2024. The LG Manoj Sinha also played a massive role in bringing normalcy to J&K. This is the result of the visionary and strong policies of PM Narendra Modi, that without fighting a war against Pakistan, the team of PM Modi, H.M. Amit Shah, E.A.M. Jaishankar, and N.S.A. Ajit Doval have tackled the national security concerns strongly and also got huge success in teaching Pakistan a strong lesson diplomatically as far as tackling terrorism in J&K is concerned. Pakistan, which perpetrated terrorism in Indian territory, is on the verge of collapse, and who knows when it will be divided into various parts further on the issue of horrible conditions in POK and Balochistan, internal terrorism, and crushing of people’s mandate by the Pak army after last year’s elections. The internal condition of Pakistan is horrible, and now, when Donald Trump has entered the office of President of the USA for the second time, there are strong indications that the Union government, led from the front by Narendra Modi, will take strong decisions related to internal and external security concerns, in addition to passing important bills to strengthen Indian democracy further. The mindless opposition political parties, by sacrificing the national security interest over their personal interest, tried their best to get back power in the 2024 parliamentary elections by any means, but they failed brazenly despite running a large number of fake narratives. Even the members of various anti-national gangs supported by the Deep State of the USA and the opposition parties, who never took the tricolor in their hands, were also seen holding the tricolor in their hands by hoodwinking everybody, including the security agencies, so that nobody dared to take them to task as they found a new strategy to hide their illegal acts against the nation by taking shelter under the national flag. It’s high time for the intelligence agencies to understand this new strategy of anti-India forces to carry on with their wrong agenda by waving Indian flags to tell the government that they are also Indians. But one thing has become clear now, and that is the strong decisions of demonetization, which helped the security and intelligence agencies with the full support of their prime minister and home minister in breaking the bone of the anti-national ecosystem in the country in addition to ensuring peace in the country in general and J&K in particular. Although some incidents of revival of terrorism, including target killings, were witnessed in J&K, still the security forces have done a lot to ensure peace in the region. As Pakistan and its sister agencies, despite approaching near their graveyards due to a crumbling Pakistan, are still doing some acts to disturb India through their still-existing paid agents in various forms, a high-level strategy is still needed for the future to bulldoze these remaining soldiers of the anti-national ecosystem, which are still operating from various places in J&K. Those who were involved in hawala funding through cross-LOC trade and other activities are still at large, and efforts are further required from the government to bring to justice those who were involved in various anti-national acts, including their involvement in hawala funding to promote terrorism against the nation. With demonetization and other strong decisions, the PM Modi-led government has already broken the bone of terrorism, and the nation is fully aware of this despite the opposition brigade’s repeated and failed attempt to create a wrong narrative against the government, as they say that “truth only triumphs.” Before the parliamentary elections in 2024, PM Modi, during the budget session, said that during the third term of the NDA government, a number of tough decisions will be taken that would lay a strong foundation for the next one thousand years. But after the result of the 2024 parliamentary elections, the BJP secured only 240 seats, and with the help of its constituents, the BJP was able to form the government at the centre third time. Massive fake narratives were run by the opposition that this government will not last and will fall soon, but the results of assembly elections in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi have shown that PM Modi’s NDA government is still strong like its previous two terms. However, the way things are going on at the national and international level, it is almost certain that the anti-national ecosystem in the country will be wiped out forever as the government, under the leadership of PM Modi, with a powerful team consisting of Amit Shah, Jaishankar, and Ajit Doval, is all set to take big decisions for the nation to make India a powerful, peaceful, and developed country in the world.
