POONCH: Former DGP J&K Police R.R. Swain (IPS), who was blessed with the ability to dance with the thunder throughout his professional career and also known for his professional brilliance, honesty, wisdom, and the tag of a professional ‘Spyman,’ dropped a bomb during a seminar at the national capital the other day.
He said that Kashmir Bar carried out the anti-India agenda for decades and played a big role in protecting the anti-national forces during the legal battles. Such a sensational disclosure made by a retired IPS officer known for his total brilliance shows that things in J&K were so terrible after the eruption of militancy in 1989-90 that Kashmiri Pandits were tortured and thrown out of the valley forcefully under a planned Pakistan-backed conspiracy. If some Kashmir BAR members were involved in such an open anti-India agenda for several years, then there is also a possibility that some important chairs operating from different places and a few political leaders were also following the same agenda silently. A former top cop of J&K once said that during militancy days in Kashmir, a major chunk of employees in the civil secretariat were silently supporting militancy, and it shows that things were very bad on the ground. What former DGP R.R. Swain said is just the tip of an iceberg, and the possibility of more such disclosures in the future about more anti-national groups who were working against the nation isn’t ruled out. It is important to mention here that not only some members of the Kashmir BAR, but in fact a collective agenda was running against the nation with the involvement of some media men who used to run narratives in favor of separatism and terrorism, some important chairs, a few NGOs and trusts who used to receive foreign money for anti-India agendas, and some big businessmen who are also involved in hawala funding through the Cross LOC trade. In short, the statement of R.R. Swain (IPS) hinted that a collective effort had been silently going on against the nation for more than two decades. But after the abrogation of temporary articles 370 and 35-A, the Union government has succeeded to some extent in establishing normalcy in J&K, although occasional terror incidents remained active here and there, especially in the Jammu region. The statement given by a former DGP, R.R. Swain, who played a remarkable role in J&K by heading an ace intelligence agency of J&K in addition to heading the country’s elite J&K police, shows that anti-national brigades were very active in the valley. In the seminar held at New Delhi, Swain shed a light on the Pakistan policies against India for years and warned that anti-national forces won’t’ be spared, as the government is committed to crushing the remains of the terrorism heavily. Swain, during his important postings in J&K, reportedly diffused many big terror plans of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism with his staunch qualities of being a silent, tough, and professional ‘Spyman.’ He is considered an IPS officer of utmost honesty and professional brilliance, and the nation needs such IPS officers everywhere to demolish the anti-national lobbies wherever they are still operating. In the national interest, R.R. Swain, the former DGP of J&K police, needs to bring the curtain down on more such stories to inform the nation about the workings of various anti-national gangs that remained on anti-India duties, as “POONCH TODAY” is also in possession of solid proof that shows how some bureaucrats used to brand terrorists as freedom fighters and were silently working against the government policies on the ground. The sensational disclosure made by a former DGP, R.R. Swain, who needs no introduction as a patriotic Indian, a ‘spyman,’ and a strong professional police officer, has opened the eyes of those forces in the country and the world who always adopted double standards on Kashmir. Anti-national forces need to be tackled by the strongest means by the union government, as the blunt disclosure of R.R. Swain, the former super cop, will prove as a pebble in the pond that creates ripples that stretch beyond.
